Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Aquatic Life of the Hassayampa River

Stop by the nature center in the afternoon and discover the amazing tiny worlds that can be found in Sonoran Desert waterways with Ranger Derik.

Several microscopes will be set up in the exhibit hall with samples taken from local waterways within the park to look at the microscopic and macroscopic animals that live in the park. Guidebooks and ID sheets will be available to help you figure out what critters you have found.
