About Vanessa:

She is a University of Arizona alumni with over 12 years of astronomy outreach and education experience. As a proud member of the TAAA, Vannessa volunteers annually at the Grand Canyon Star Party. In addition to her role as the Guide and Docent Coordinator at Kitt Peak National Observatory, she serves as a Solar System Ambassador with NASA and JPL. Vannessa is also one of the founders of the Stars Over Sabino Star Party, which is hosted annually at Sabino Canyon in Tucson. Vannessa is passionate about education, outreach, and optical astronomy.
