March 29, 2025 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

According to Arizona’s own historical records, wild horses have been living on the Salt River and the Salt River Valley since well before the Tonto National Forest was created.

Our history is their history and they are now protected by state law. Join Salt River Wild Horse Management Group to learn about the origins of these iconic animals, and how the people of Arizona and its politicians stepped in to protect the horses.
