In this course, Girl Scouts will explore the step-by-step instructions that programmers use to create apps, games, and other technologies we rely on every day. They’ll get hands-on with block coding, a beginner-friendly way to learn to program and discover important techniques like camel case formatting to write clean, organized code. By working with functions, arguments, and sequences, they’ll learn to break down big problems into smaller steps-just like real programmers do. By the end of this class, participants will be more familiar with programming languages, understand the benefits of learning them, and gain confidence in navigating the exciting world of coding!
