Engineering for Kids: Cityscape Creators Camp / Digital Rails – Smart Train Engineering

(AM – JUNIORS) Cityscape Creators Camp

What are engineers? What do they do and how do they do it? In this kid-favorite program, campers will learn all about civil engineering, design, and the process engineers use to solve some pretty big problems. They will use our large architecture blocks to work through several building challenges and will be tasked to modify and improve their projects through testing and analysis. The week rounds out with an open-ended challenge where campers will manage their resources to create a sprawling cityscape perfect for their Smart Trains from the afternoon class to traverse.

(PM – JUNIORS) Digital Rails: Smart Train Engineering

With our Smart Trains, we’re bringing toy trains into the digital age! Our lessons will test campers with logic problems and coding dilemmas in a way that feels like play, culminating in a class-wide project to construct an entire train world! Campers will build pre-designed and custom track layouts to tackle challenges. Complete with colored tile-based programming, ramps, tunnels, bridges, and a companion app that quickly pairs to each train, Smart Trains makes for one exciting program!
