Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Intro to Desert Hiking

This intro to hiking class will cover topics including what to pack, how to pick a trail, when to go, water, safety tips, and much more. The class will be an indoor classroom PowerPoint and finish with a hands-on look at what a ranger carries in their day pack. Feel free to ask questions and bring your own gear.
