Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Lunch and Learn – Venomous Creatures

Did you know that Arizona is home to 14 species of venomous snake? Or that it is home to the only venomous lizard in the U.S.? Bring a lunch and eat while we discuss a variety of snakes, lizards, spiders, scorpions and more. We’ll also look at the difference between venom and poison, what to do when you encounter a venomous animal, and what to do if you should ever be envenomated.

MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center classroom

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 8/12.
