With cooler weather on the horizon, stop by the Nature Center to visit with Ranger Derik and learn what you should carry on your desert hikes and how to stay safe while you’re out in the parks. A table will be set up in the nature center with clothing, gear, maps and packing lists.
Stop by the nature center after your morning hikes and meet with Ranger Derik to see what a ranger carries in their bag on an average day hike. A table will be set up in the nature center with clothing, gear, maps and packing lists. Feel free to ask any questions you have about desert hiking.
