Phoenix Public Library: STEAM Saturday for Families – Candy Construction

Become a Candy Civil Engineer by joining Saguaro Library in constructing towers, bridges and buildings using candy pumpkins!

Plan, build and test the strength of your candy structure. Participants will also vote on which liquids are able to dissolve the pumpkin candy. Join us to showcase your original candy construction and take home to display – or deliciously demolish!

Families are encouraged to participate in making and creating at Saguaro. Guided activities will include science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics concepts. Join the family STEAM event every Saturday of the month. Let’s create!
