Discover the incredible parks and recreational opportunities right in your backyard at our November 4th Foothills Speaker Series event, “Your Community Parks.”

Join us at 6 PM at the Holland Center for an evening with park leaders Sarah Webber (Arizona State Parks and Trails), Jennifer Waller (Maricopa County Parks), and Claire Miller (City of Phoenix Parks) as they share insights about the different types of parks available, what makes parks and nature preserves unique, and how these spaces contribute to our community’s well-being. You’ll learn about hidden gems and familiar favorites while getting your questions answered by the people who know these systems best.

Whether you’re a regular hiker, weekend picnicker, or someone just looking to get outside more, this free event will help you make the most of the amazing park resources available throughout our region.

This free event is a joint effort of Desert Foothills Land Trust and the Holland Center. Registration is required due to limited seating.
