Introducing Camp Cooper Online
Free Video Series for Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Camp Cooper Online is a free, online portal to environmental learning made fun and new, brought to you by our amazing team of educators. Each of the 10 learning activities is derived from our beloved Camp Cooper Activity Centers. Activities have been tailored to being done at home using original videos, downloadable worksheets for older kids to complete independently or for younger kids to complete with parents.
Activities incorporate ecological and life science learning opportunities derived from state standards and flexible for a wide variety of ages.
Parents of students in Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to sign up, and each Monday, participants will receive a weekly activity for kids, delivered straight to their email. There is no cost to sign up.
Follow along with Cliff as she walks you through a recipe for mesquite flour based cookies – baked by the sun!
Cooper Center director Colin Waite takes us on a virtual hike around Camp Cooper – exploring the plants, geology and the vistas that make the Camp Cooper site, in the Tucson Mountains, so special.
