Raptor Resource Project: Waterfowl and Shorebird Videos
Our waterfowl and shorebird libraries can be watched and enjoyed by themselves or used in conjunction with our lesson plans.
Video sections are divided into species, including Sandhill Cranes, waterfowl and shorebirds, and birds of prey. Many interesting behaviors can be seen and heard within each species group, including feeding, preening, territorial defense, and vocalizations. Identification can provide a unique challenge, since many of the species we see on migration are molting into or out of breeding plumage.
All of the videos curated here are free of advertisements.
The Raptor Resource Project is a non-profit 501c3 dedicated to preserving and strengthening raptor populations, expanding participation in raptor conservation, and educating people around the world about raptors and their habitats.
