Raptor Resource Project: Just Passing Through!
Students will learn about migratory flyways and investigate one bird species found on the Mississippi Flyway.
They can present their findings by assuming the role of the bird as they write migration entries, or label a map of the bird’s migration pattern and provide a brief description of what happens at each location. The lesson plan will take one to two hours of class time to complete, plus homework.

The Raptor Resource Project is a non-profit 501c3 dedicated to preserving and strengthening raptor populations, expanding participation in raptor conservation, and educating people around the world about raptors and their habitats.
