The Catalina Garden Club is a staff-led gardening, composting, sustainability focused collaborative group. Members will learn about desert and container gardening, hear some guest speakers, get hands on experience with some local flora, etc. in a relaxed atmosphere of sharing and caring.
Adults who want to know more about gardening and strategies in a desert, who want to share their knowledge born of success or failure, are welcome to join. Meetings are relaxed conversations with sometimes guest speakers. Topics change faster than the seasons!

Play with seeds big and small! Squish sponges and real soil and read an inspiring seed story. End the Storytime by starting a little garden in a sponge to take home! This end is designed for ages 3 and up, but siblings are welcome!
All ages of people are welcome to come origami fold a paper pot and then use it to plant a sunflower seed! Take it home to water and grow and one day maybe harvest! We provide the paper, the soil, and the seeds: you provide the green thumb!
