You’ll get to hear from and meet Susan Kilrain\, a former NASA astronaut who has traveled millions of miles through space\, and Tony Palmer\, a wildlife biologist who has a passion for fireflies and protecting the night skies they depend on. \nParticipate in awesome activities: \n\nVirtual Reality: Take a digital trip through the solar system.\nStar Party: look through a dozen telescopes to see planets and stars up close.\nAnimal Encounters: Meet live animals and learn about the local wildlife.\nFestival Passport: Visit different stations to collect stamps for a chance to win a brand-new bike!\nHands-on STEM: Explore a variety of science  activities.\nMeet Avocado the Puppet \nHave your face painted\nMeteorite Displays: touch a real meteorite\n\nWhether you’re enjoying our popular solar system walk or checking out winning student artwork\, there is a discovery waiting around every corner. \nFood trucks\, beer and wine garden\, silent auction\, and live music round out the fun for everyone!
