PROGRAMS
April is Earth Month! To celebrate, a group of organizations from all over Arizona have joined forces to create a whole month of sustainability activities! Join us each week to explore a different theme:
Tune in every Monday from 1:30-2:30p with your classroom, STEM club, or work-from-home office mate to hear from sustainability professionals across AZ! Each speaker will give a brief presentation, followed by Q&A for those zooming in. Hear first-hand accounts of diverse career journeys & explore a variety of organizations across AZ, including the Arizona Wildlife Federation, Maricopa County Air Quality Department, APS, AZ Department of Forestry & Fire Management, 4-H, Maricopa County Flood Control District, AZStRUT, Project WET, & more.
Then, spend the week exploring our virtual sustainability resource fair from the comfort of your internet browser! One new “building” is unlocked every week, full of resources for educators and at-home explorers alike.
You’ve met the experts on Zoom and explored the virtual resource fair – now it’s time to connect IRL with fellow sustainability enthusiasts! Check out SciTech’s event calendar for awesome sustainability-related events happening every weekend.
