SUMMARY:Pima Air and Space Museum: The Great Paper Airplane Fly-Off
DESCRIPTION:One of the community’s best FREE events for kids. \nCompete to throw the furthest paper airplane and win amazing prizes. \nEach contestant will compete by building and throwing their paper airplane. The farthest throw wins! The top three from each age group will compete for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place. Each contestant in the individual competition can bring up to 4 guests for free. Lunch is provided. \nAge brackets: \n\n6-8 years\n9-11 years\n12-14 years\nFamily Contest\n\nEach family must have at least one adult age 18 or over and at least one child between the ages of 5 and 17.\nUp to 7 people may participate per family.\nIndividual competitors may also be a part of the family contest.\n\n\n\nIndividual contestants will compete in the age bracket they fit in on the day of the competition April 11th. Registration required.

Tours will run continuously\, lasting about 10 mins. The SOFIA tour takes you through the main cabin and does not include access to the flight deck. They are located behind (south) of Hangars 4 & 5. Volunteers from Raytheon will be on hand to guide the new recruits through their mission! \nSpy for a Day is on February 22 from 10am-3pm and is free with paid admission. No registration required.
