Learn about what veterinarians do through activities\, simulations\, and interactions with animals! \nThis camp is designed for campers with a strong interest in veterinary medicine\, possibly focusing on reptiles. The campers learn about our medical and high needs animals and even get to help take care of them!  Don’t worry\, they won’t be doing surgery on any animals\, but they could be giving it a special soak\, assisting it shed\, feeding them\, and giving them love! By the end of vet camp\, campers will have done case studies\, examined live animals of all types\, learned about wildlife and how we study populations of wild animals and health concerns they may have\, and more.  It is fun and interactive\, and perfect for the child who “wants to be a vet when they grow up”! \nAges: Advanced\, Ages 12 – 14 \nPrice: $375 per week\, June 22nd – June 26th  \nYour registration for a week-long camp will include: \n\n1 Camp T-shirt with camper name\, per week\nPhotos from camp. DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in learning about how mammals and reptiles work together in different ecosystems? This is the camp for you! This camp has an exciting mix of both mammal and reptile knowledge! \nAre you interested in learning about different ecosystems and the mammals and reptiles in them? What kinds of relationships they have together in those ecosystems? Camp Paws and Claws help you deep dive into the different ambassador mammals we have at the sanctuary and the reptiles we have here too! \nCamp Paws and Claws will use a STEAM (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Art\, & Math) oriented curriculum to do activities like crafts\, games\, animal interactions\, and more!
