SUMMARY:LFDT Phoenix: Lineth Technical Deep Dive - Inside the Production-Grade ZK Rollup Stack
DESCRIPTION:With the announcement of Lineth (https://github.com/LFDT-Lineth) as a new Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust incubating project\, we’re opening the hood on the full stack in our first community Technical Deep Dive. \nLineth is a production-grade\, EVM-equivalent zk-rollup stack for Ethereum – the same codebase that has powered Linea Mainnet since July 2023\, finalizing over 300 million transactions and generating more than 416\,000 zero-knowledge proofs with 99.98% sequencer uptime. It is now in a vendor-neutral\, open source home under LFDT\, governed by a Technical Steering Committee and with more than 30 project maintainers. \nThis session is your entry point into the architecture\, the community\, and the roadmap. \nAgenda: \n\nWelcome & Housekeeping\nWhy Lineth\nUse cases & Interoperability\nHigh Level Architecture Overview\nRoadmap\nOpen Discussions & Q&A\n\nStay tuned in #lineth-general on LFDT Discord for updates and to join the community. \nPlease note: This event is being shared with our entire global community. If you’re interested in this content but can’t attend the event live\, feel free to sign up and we will send you a link to the recording after the meetup is over.

SUMMARY:LFDT Phoenix: Architecture for Sustaining Open Source in Web 3
DESCRIPTION:Open source is the foundation of Web3\, but most ecosystems still fund it like a series of short-term projects instead of long-term public infrastructure. As decentralized networks grow\, the real challenge is no longer just building software. It is maintaining the critical code\, tooling\, standards\, and contributor communities that keep the ecosystem secure\, usable\, and resilient. \nThis session explores what an architecture for sustaining open source in Web3 should look like. We will examine why traditional grant models often fall short\, how maintenance differs from feature delivery\, and why decentralized ecosystems need clearer coordination structures without recreating centralized control. The discussion will introduce models such as decentralized OSPOs and open maintenance frameworks as practical ways to align governance\, funding\, accountability\, and contributor support. \nAttendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how Web3 ecosystems can move from reactive funding toward intentional stewardship of open source infrastructure. \nLearn more about this effort at: https://github.com/LF-Decentralized-Trust-labs/os-frontiers/tree/main \nPlease note: This event is being shared with our entire global community. If you’re interested in this content but can’t attend the event live\, feel free to sign up and we will send you a link to the recording after the meetup is over.
