Tohono Chul @ Home: Trees

Trees are often seen as representative of human life – their roots, anchored to the earth, strive to provide the strength and the foundation so they can grow, just as we sometimes struggle to grow where we are planted.

Their trunks and branches reach towards the life-giving light, just as we reach for the things we desire from life – wisdom, wealth, health and happiness. And trees have the opportunity to remake themselves each spring when new branches and leaves appear – we often remake ourselves as well.

Be like a tree.
Stay grounded.
Connect with your roots.
Turn over a new leaf.
Bend before you break.
Enjoy your unique natural beauty.
Keep growing.
