The Vaccine Makers Project: Animal Research and Vaccines

Students explore the contributions of animal research to vaccine development as an example of the benefits this type of research can have on human health.

Students also analyze the limitations of animal models in research. A video, reading passage and online research position students to write a brief concluding analysis related to the ethics of using animal research to develop vaccines.
