When we think about food, most of us care about eating foods that we like and that are going to give us the nutrients we need for the day. But did you know there is a science behind the what and when we eat and how it interacts with our bodies?
During this month’s STEM Pro Live!, we learn about nutrition and the science behind it from our STEM professors at Arizona State University (ASU) in the College of Health Solutions. Kent Moody, the executive chef, explains how math plays an important role in the kitchen and Christy Alexon, professor and registered dietician, teaches us about the science behind our food.
