The Raptor Resource Project is a non-profit 501c3 dedicated to preserving and strengthening raptor populations, expanding participation in raptor conservation, and educating people around the world about raptors and their habitats.
As part of our mission, we offer free lesson plans centered around our Bald Eagle and Peregrine Falcon web cams. Our lesson plans are written for teachers, by teachers, and can be used as is or tailored to fit a wide variety of ages and topics.
In addition to lesson plans, we offer a COPPA-compliant classroom chat for teachers. The chat is staffed with volunteer moderators who can talk to classes, answer questions, and share information. Teachers can apply for a classroom account here: https://scitechinstitute.orgwww.raptorresource.org/register/. Teachers can also join the Decorah Eagle Education Facebook Group, a private group run by a retired teacher who is very involved with our eagle education work. That group can be found here: https://scitechinstitute.orgwww.facebook.com/groups/404139843282553/
Thank you for sharing our raptors with your students!
