National Park Service: Junior Ranger Online - Make Your Own Monument

The Bunker Hill Monument commemorates the Battle of Bunker Hill and those who fought at the beginning of the American Revolutionary War.

Construction completed in 1843. The Monument is built entirely from granite blocks, and it is just over 221 feet tall.

What, or who, do you want to commemorate and remember? Print out the sheet below on letter-size (8.5″ x 11″) paper and follow the directions on the page. Decorate it. Write a message, the names of people, or something else you want to commemorate! Your own monument will be approximately 221 millimeters tall, or 1/300 the size of the actual Bunker Hill Monument.
