National Informal STEM Education Network: Storming the Castle Museum Theater Show

In this theater presentation, learners explore the risks and benefits of synthetic biology in a light-hearted melodramatic setting.

A villager brings their concerns about synthetic biology to the local mad scientist, and together they discuss the risks and benefits that this new science presents society.

Developed in conjunction with the Building with Biology project, this theater presentation is designed to help museum and scientist partners engage public audiences in conversations and hands-on activities about the field of synthetic biology and the ways this emerging technology is interconnected with society.
