Climate Change – Transportation is an investigative mission for groups of 4 or 5. From discussing and sharing their thoughts and ideas about transportation, they will then explore different timelines.
Learners will develop a deeper understanding of issues relating to transportation from different perspectives and be challenged to think deeply about how it relates to climate change.
Learners should be able to communicate their thoughts and feelings whilst addressing some or all of these questions:
- Why is transport important to society?
- How does transport impact climate change?
- Are electric cars the only solution?
- How might developments in technology and science help to reduce the impact of transprtation on climate change?
- What can we do individually, locally, nationally and globally to address the environmental problems caused by transport and reduce the impact on climate?
