Pollinator Partnership: Habitat Restoration and Management Webinar Series

In 2018, P2 conducted a series of 5 in-person, symposium style workshops to provide technical assistance to public land managers and private land stewards working within the Eastern Broadleaf Forest-Continental Province who were engaged, (or are interested in becoming engaged), with monarch habitat planning, creation, restoration, and long-term management.

Each of the five on-site workshops included a comprehensive review of best management practices (BMP’s) and targeted recommendations for management actions on public, private, and private working land environments.

To ensure a broader audience of land managers have access to this in-demand knowledge, P2 recorded the following 7-part webinar series. This series highlights presentations given by professional land managers and conservation scientists who are recognized for their expertise in monarch conservation, implementing monarch habitat projects in targeted land-use scenarios, and long-term habitat management.

Though the MWAEBF project has concluded, this 7-part webinar series will remain available online to continue empowering land stewards with the knowledge of how they can prepare, create, and maintain their own habitat, small or large, for monarchs and other pollinators.
