Arizona Game and Fish Department: Focus Wild Arizona Activity Sheets - Habitats as Homes

Most animals live in very specific habitats.

They have food and shelter needs that cannot be found in other places. And people are the same. For example, some people do not own cars, so they need to live near the places where they work and shop for food. Families often like to live near parks so the children have a place to play. There are many reasons why people live where they do.

Focus Wild Arizona Activity Sheets: From 2006-2013, each issue of the Department’s Arizona Wildlife Views magazine featured a new education article. These articles were intended for younger children and include some vocabulary and a fun activity. All of these articles are now available on our website.
