On January 22, Arizona SciTech Festival launches the 11th season of celebrating STEM across the state. In honor of this achievement and in the spirit of STEM innovation on which the Festival was founded, we are evolving to more effectively meet the needs of the state’s communities and residents. Since its launch in 2012, the SciTech Festival’s 900+ partners have engaged hundreds of thousands of attendees in 80+ Arizona cities and towns. The 2021 Festival season offered an incredible opportunity to both celebrate the past and embrace the future. This year, based on your personal comfort level and interests, we invite you to join us in making STEM accessible, engaging, and inspiring for all. We are taking advantage of the digital opportunities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and celebrating the return to in-person events with safety precautions. We are excited to support the Festival’s collaborators and events as a fusion of online and in-person approaches. Organizers will continue to offer their in-person, hands-on events when possible, but will also be encouraged to add digital options as well.

Thank you Mascots and Friends for joining us on Zoom for Nova The Gecko’s 2nd Birthday Party! Shout out to Monty The Mountain Lion from Mountain Ridge High School for celebrating with us again this year. Thank you MRHS Team in Deer Valley!
Thank you collaborators, exhibitors, sponsors and participants for joining us for the Ribbon Cutting of the Arizona SciTech Festival on January 22 at 10:30am at Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson!
We are working hard to ensure people have the opportunity to still engage with STEM during this time and provide opportunities to better connect our STEM ecosystem of collaborators from business, community, government, and education.
It embraces continued STEM learning and engagement and helps break down barriers like geography and socioeconomic. We see the silver lining in the ways current challenges will push us to grow as a community. We anticipate that this “hybrid” format will go beyond signature events and 2021 to make the overall Festival truly inclusive and provide participants of all capabilities with valuable and rewarding experiences well into the future.
