Willow Bend Environmental Education Center: Birding Tour of Thorpe Park Pond and Forest

Join us for a guided birding walk at Thorpe Park!
Learn the basics of birdwatching, including how to use binoculars and field guides, identify birds by sight and sound, and understand bird behavior and habitat.

Led by local birding expert Tim Weber, this outdoor walk will explore Thorpe Park’s pond and forested areas, offering real-time practice in the field.

Tim has over 20 years of birding experience and has led tours for the Verde Valley Bird and Nature Festival, the Arboretum at Flagstaff, and the Audubon Society. He also runs Birding Northern Arizona, offering guided tours throughout Sedona and the Verde Valley.

Recommended for adults and children ages 10 and up
Cost: $25 (general public) / $20 (Willow Bend members)
