Watershed Management Group: Watershed Management Group Open House

Are you passionate about WMG’s work and want to be part of acheiving our vision? We invite you to get more involved in Watershed Management Group as a dedicated volunteer. At our Open House event, staff and board members will share more about volunteer opportunities including Board service, Board and staff committees, the Docent program, and the River Run Network. Finger foods and rainwater refreshments will be served.

Through our volunteer programs, you will help advance these major initiatives:

• Shifting to be a hydro-local community, stewarding and valuing local water resources
• Restoring our heritage of flowing desert rivers and expanding our riparian forests
• Advancing our Cool Tucson 5 degrees initiative through new educational workshops and strategic partnerships
• Centering engagement and learning with Black, Indigenous, Latinx, LGBTQ+, and disabled community members
