Watershed Management Group: Desert Drawing Workshop – When Humans Meet Nature

This series of 4 workshops invites participants to closely observe and creatively interpret the natural world of the Living Lab through drawing.

Taught by artist (and former WMG intern), Emma Nakpairat, the Desert Drawing workshops are intended for adults and teens, age 14 and older. Held one Sunday a month over the next few months for 1.5 hours – each workshop will focus on a specific theme:

  • When Humans Meet Nature: Sketching in the urban environment – February 4th

All supplies will be provided but participants are also welcome to bring their own drawing materials, including pencils, erasers, or sketchbooks.

While free of charge, donations for the teacher and to cover basic costs on the day, are welcome.

  • Audience: Adult
  • Genre: Arts, Culture & Social Science, Field Sciences
