Tucson Botanical Gardens: Rodeo Break Youth Workshop – Acting and Mask Making with a Botanical Twist

Kids aged 10-18 get to learn from local theater professionals AND exercise their love of nature with this workshop facilitated by The Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre staff. Participants will get to use natural materials collected from the Gardens to make their very own theatrical masks!  In addition to making botanical masks, participants will engage in exercises and games used by professional actors to hone their stagecraft. Plus, they’ll get to show off their creations with a parade around the Garden grounds at the end of the session.

Snacks will be provided, but feel free to send kiddos with their own snacks if preferred.

Price is $80 per session for non-garden members and $64 for members and includes the child’s admission to the Gardens, a mask and materials for making it & snacks.  Need financial assistance? Email Laura at education2@tucsonbotanical.org for details.
