Tucson Audubon Society: GETTING STARTED WITH BIRDING AT FORT LOWELL PARK Field Trip

If you’ve never been birding, or are just beginning, this trip will help you get started.

We’ll move slowly and practice identifying birds by shape, sound, color, and behavior. You’ll get to know some of the common birds in Tucson and be introduced to helpful resources for new birders. We’ll have fun exploring the fields, pond, and pecan grove in the park and will walk about 1 mile.

Meet in the parking lot off of N. Craycroft Road.

Trip Easy: Walk 1-2 miles on level grass, paved and dirt paths.

Limited to 10 participants. Binoculars will be provided for those who request them.

Leader: Karen Howe (karenhowepdx@gmail.com)
