Beginner’s Fishing Clinic: Learn to Cast, Rig, and Identify Local Fish
Join us for a hands-on Fishing Clinic designed for beginners eager to explore the fundamentals of fishing! In this introductory class, participants will learn the essential skills needed to start their fishing journey, including:
-Casting Techniques: Learn how to properly and safely cast a fishing line for accuracy and distance.
-Rig Setup: Get step-by-step guidance on assembling basic fishing rigs, including choosing the right hooks, weights, and bait.
-Local Fish Identification: Discover the common fish species found in our local waters, along with tips for where and how to catch them.
All equipment is provided, and no prior experience is necessary. If you have your own fishing equipment that you want help to set up, feel free to bring it so we can help out!
DISCLAIMER: A valid Arizona Fishing license is required in order to fish. An annual fishing license is $37 for residents and last one year from date of purchase, and a day license is $15 for residents that will last until the end of the calendar day. Children aged 0-9 fish for free, People aged 10-17 require junior license at $5 for annual pass, everyone older the 17 is required to purchase full license. Licenses will be checked by Ranger staff on site.
