The University of Arizona: Introduction to KP Ten-Frame Tiles (Making Manipulatives Make Sense)

This introductory session will focus on exploring the system of ten-frame platforms and tiles through which students physically and visually experience the structure and applications of the base-10 number system. In this session, experiece how to use KP Tiles to help students make sense of, and think flexibly about, place value concepts.

*No registration is required. Drop-ins are welcome!

**If possible, please have a physical set of the featured manipulatives available during the session.
