The University of Arizona: IMPACTS Digging Deep Into Fraction Operations with Addition, Subtraction – Grades 4 – 6

Building fractions sense requires students to have robust visual models and flexible understandings of fractions. We will explore the operations of fractions through sense-making visually rich experiences. Join us and you will build, draw, and discuss fraction addition and subtraction. We will use representations to build a deeper understanding of fraction operations. Come and engage with fractions deeply.

**NOTE: Participants will be expected to take a task back to their classrooms, collect and analyze student work, and share their reflections with the CRR.
