The University of Arizona: Beyond Basic Fact Fluency – Multiplication and Division Grades 3-5 (IMPACTS-Elem)

Are you struggling to help your students master their basic facts? Fluency with basic facts goes way beyond simple memorization and lays the foundation for powerful strategies that promote number sense. Come and explore ways you can utilize engaging teaching routines, meaningful games and strategy practice tasks that help students develop all three components of fluency with multiplication and division.
