Join Physician Assistant, Lauren Moreno, as she discusses how nutrition plays a role in healthy aging, Type 2 diabetes, and wound healing.
Lauren is committed to educating the community to enhance patient-provider conversations about nutrition and its role in overall health and wellness.
Lauren Moreno graduated from A.T. Still University in 2015 with a master’s in physician assistant studies. While working full-time, Lauren returned to A.T. Still in 2019 and earned a doctorate degree for physician assistants in order to teach alongside clinical work. She is passionate about treating her patients from a whole healthcare perspective and equipping future medical professionals to do the same. She supports the foundational aspects of primary care with education in nutrition, as she completed a nutrition fellowship with the PA Foundation in 2022. When Lauren is not serving her community in the clinic or the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being active outdoors, and traveling.
