Rio Salado Audubon Center: Family Workshop – Bird Adaptations

Learn about our local birds and their amazing adaptations that help them survive in the arid Southwest

Join us for another fun family workshop at the Rio Salado Audubon Center! From beaks to talons, to the eggs they lay, we’ll explore all the amazing adaptations that help birds thrive in their habitats. Learn about local bird species and the unique things that help them survive in Phoenix! We’ll play a game to investigate how bird beaks help us eat, then decorate an egg adapted to your habitat, ready to take home!
