Reid Park Zoo: Veterans Day Military Discount

To honor veterans for their service, Reid Park Zoo is offering free admission to all active duty and retired military with proof of military I.D. on Veterans Day (Saturday, November 11) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, up to six family members will receive admission of $5 each. The discount admission is available at the gate only.

The Zoo invites military personnel and their families to enjoy a relaxing day visiting with the Zoo’s animals, from its pride of lions to its tower of giraffes, and herd of elephants, including 7-month-old calf Meru and new addition, 16-year-old male Tsavo.
