For the 2024 summer camp season, Reid Park Zoo is offering a three-day summer camp experience for students going into grades 6-8. This three-day program will include animal ambassador encounters, behind-the-scenes opportunities, and hands-on activities.

Grades 6 – 8: Conservation

Campers will dive into the world of wildlife conservation, learning about the important work taking place both at zoos and in the wild. Through activities, behind-the-scenes tours, and animal encounters, they will explore scientific research projects the Zoo supports, and even find out how they can participate in conservation themselves.
