Reid Park Zoo: City of Tucson FoodCycle At Home Workshop

Are you interested in composting food scraps at home?

The City of Tucson offers a FoodCycle At Home program for community members to compost their food scraps at home. There are several drop-off locations around town but participants must attend a workshop to join the program.

Reid Park Zoo is partnering with the City of Tucson’s Environmental and General Services Department to host a workshop at the Zoo on Saturday, October 5th. Join us to learn more about the FoodCycle At Home program and to receive your very own countertop compost pail!

The workshop is free to attend but registration is required. Register for this event at https://www.tucsonaz.gov/Departments/Environmental-and-General-Services/FoodCycle/FoodCycle-At-Home.

Check-in for the event will be outside the front of the zoo starting at 8:45 am.
