Reid Park Zoo: Animal Wellness and Conservation Summer Camp (Grades 7 – 8)
Wellness isn’t only important for humans, it’s important for animals and the planet, too!
Your camper won’t want to miss this two-day camp where they will explore the science used to help animals thrive, both in the Zoo and in their natural habitats. Campers will build skills by using some of the same tools as wildlife scientists and gain an understanding of modern animal husbandry standards by designing animal habitats, enriching an animal’s space, and participating in a mock veterinary case study.
Session Dates:
8:30 am — 4:00 pm
