Pinal County Library District: SMART Kids – Solar Eclipse Special

Come and learn about the science behind solar eclipses as we bring back the SMART Kids program (Science, Math, Art, Reading, Technology) for this special event.  School-age children and their families will learn about the types of solar eclipses, why and how eclipses occur, how rare (or not rare) solar eclipses actually are, and important safety tips in preparation for the first of two solar eclipses visible from North America in the next six months: October 14, 2023 and April 8, 2024.

**Registration is required for ALL attendees and eclipse viewing glasses will be distributed at the start of the program to all registered attendees. Supplies are limited.
