Pima County Public Library: The History of Honey Bee Canyon

Humans have shaped Honey Bee Canyon for centuries: Native Americans, homesteaders, and ranchers built housing, farmed, and grazed cattle in the area. In more recent years, this unique riparian area was mired in local political controversy. Learn the history of Honey Bee Canyon — from early human occupation to its current status as a municipal park.
