Pima County Public Library: Digital Storytelling Bootcamp
Apply here: https://bit.ly/DSBSignUpForm
We will get back to you by June 2, 2023
Digital storytelling involves utilizing digital tools and media, like photos and audio, to create compelling narratives and communicate messages that engage. It combines traditional storytelling techniques with the use of technology to create a more immersive experience.
The theme of this year’s free bootcamp, for ages 14 to 24, is resilience and belonging. Come learn new skills and create your story.
·Do you have a story about an organization or group who does good work in the community? Have you completed a project you are proud of?
·Do you have a personal story of resilience? Why is resilience important to young people in our community right now?
·What was a time when your family, friends or community helped you get through a difficult situation? Was there a time when you helped someone else feel a sense of belonging?
·What are some things about your cultural identity that make you feel proud?
You have been through a lot, and we know you have an important story to tell. This is an opportunity to help yourself and help others who may see your story. The digital story you create belongs to you and we will share it only with your permission.
Apply to join if you can commit to participating in this four-day bootcamp for young adults aged 14 to 24. We meet from 10am-4:30pm at the Woods Memorial Library Tuesday, June 13 to Friday, June 16.
A light lunch is provided.
