Pima County Natural Resources, Parks & Recreation: Birding El Rio Preserve

El Rio Preserve is a birding hotspot that is an interesting mix of Sonoran Desert and riparian habitats.

As the desert warms up we will be looking for resident birds, such as Greater Roadrunner, Mexican Duck and Song Sparrow.  We will also be on the lookout for early fall migrants.  Please remember to wear a hat and bring plenty of water and sunscreen. All ages welcome.
