SUMMARY:HeatSync Labs: Prusa Users Group (PUG)
DESCRIPTION:The first Thursday of every month a few of us are going to grab a Prusa and ride to the lab! Want to join us? You might be asking . . . but then what? Here is just a short list! \n1) diagnose and fix print problems\n2) maintenance (every 300 print hours it’s suggested you look over your printer!)\n3) share model ideas\n4) model and print challenges\n5) anything to advance CAD skills\n6) finally setup an MMU \nHeatsync is the perfect place to work on our 3D printers since there is plenty of space\, bright lights\, and a wide range of tools.\nMichelle: Mmueller1227@gmail.com\nSheldon: sheldon@tooshel.com \nFAQ:\nQ: Does it have to be a Prusa?\nA: NO! Of course not! That’s just what we have the most experience with but anyone is welcome! Even Bambu owners! 🙂 We are happy to help with any printer but our experience happens to be with what we own. We even had the idea that we could have a Voron building series! We love Prusa but we also just enjoy the hobby and that includes building printers (which is part of why we were drawn to Prusa in the first place). \nQ: Will you fix my printer?\nA: Maybe? We are all volunteers and are here because we enjoy the hobby. We hope to help instill you with the knowledge and confidence to fix and maintain your printer. \n  \nHeatSync Labs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit hackerspace in Mesa\, Arizona dedicated to helping you get access to the tools and skills you need to make awesome stuff. Remember we have no staff; we’re made up entirely of volunteers including you! \nJust stop by during open hours and work on something! If you really want to give us money\, you can also Become a Member however it is not necessary to be a member to come and work.

SUMMARY:Highlands Center for Natural History: Natural History Book Club - "The Age of Loneliness: Essays" by Laura Marris
DESCRIPTION:Sitting in the Highlands Center ramada while the wind rustles through the ponderosa pine needles and a robin chirps\, there is a moment of silent contemplation. Natural history is complicated – personal and universal at the same time. Our Natural History book club met beginning in 2021 and the discussions occasionally resulted in these special moments of quiet thoughtfulness. \nWe’re excited to continue to offer this free and open to the public program. Reading is something on many of our “to-do” lists\, but some of us need a little extra incentive\, like having a group that meets monthly to discuss. This group focuses on books related to natural history\, with some southwestern component\, written in the last decade or so. Books are selected by the group and then sold in the Benson Family Nature Store. We take our time reading – two months for each book. And we encourage personal connections\, as well as universal questioning\, when we come together for our meetings. People can jump in at any time! \nJoin the Natural History Book Club today! \nBook club meetings are the first Friday of each month from 1pm-2pm and meet in the beautiful outdoor setting of the Discovery Gardens Ramada\, weather depending. \n2026 Natural History Book Club Books and Dates:\nFebruary / March\nThe Age of Loneliness: Essays\, by Laura Marris
