SUMMARY:Children's Museum of Phoenix: Measure-a-Saurus!
DESCRIPTION:Step back in time for some dino-sized STEAM fun! \nIn this hands-on activity\, young paleontologists will explore the fascinating world of dinosaur facts and measurements\, comparing their own height\, stride\, and even “tooth size” to prehistoric giants. Using tools of measurement and simple math\, kids will practice estimation\, observation\, and data collection as they measure up to real-life dino dimensions. It’s a roaring good way to blend science\, math\, and imagination!

SUMMARY:HeatSync Labs: Prusa Users Group (PUG)
DESCRIPTION:The first Thursday of every month a few of us are going to grab a Prusa and ride to the lab! Want to join us? You might be asking . . . but then what? Here is just a short list! \n1) diagnose and fix print problems\n2) maintenance (every 300 print hours it’s suggested you look over your printer!)\n3) share model ideas\n4) model and print challenges\n5) anything to advance CAD skills\n6) finally setup an MMU \nHeatsync is the perfect place to work on our 3D printers since there is plenty of space\, bright lights\, and a wide range of tools.\nMichelle: Mmueller1227@gmail.com\nSheldon: sheldon@tooshel.com \nFAQ:\nQ: Does it have to be a Prusa?\nA: NO! Of course not! That’s just what we have the most experience with but anyone is welcome! Even Bambu owners! 🙂 We are happy to help with any printer but our experience happens to be with what we own. We even had the idea that we could have a Voron building series! We love Prusa but we also just enjoy the hobby and that includes building printers (which is part of why we were drawn to Prusa in the first place). \nQ: Will you fix my printer?\nA: Maybe? We are all volunteers and are here because we enjoy the hobby. We hope to help instill you with the knowledge and confidence to fix and maintain your printer. \n  \nHeatSync Labs is a 501(c)3 nonprofit hackerspace in Mesa\, Arizona dedicated to helping you get access to the tools and skills you need to make awesome stuff. Remember we have no staff; we’re made up entirely of volunteers including you! \nJust stop by during open hours and work on something! If you really want to give us money\, you can also Become a Member however it is not necessary to be a member to come and work.
